What your donation does
A filter is a one-off cost that removes a daily one. A household that receives one stops boiling water for fuel it cannot spare, stops buying bottled water it cannot afford, and stops losing days to waterborne illness. The filter keeps working for up to ten years with nothing to replace, so a single donation is not a subscription anyone has to keep paying.
Donations are used to place filters where they are needed most: households without a safe supply, and the schools and clinics that serve them.
